Mt. Lemmon 2016

Mt. Lemmon 2016 is in the books!! Despite a rocky beginning with reports of forest fires and our original campground becoming the staging area for the ‘Hot Shots’ the boys had an awesome time! The fire danger turned out to be zero, however we did need to procure a new campsite! Once the drama subsided and we all settled in the boys enjoyed awesome weather and a great weekend of camping in the high pines at an elevation of 1.6 times sea level! We hiked, we geocached, had camp fires, and in general enjoyed God’s country.

Mt. Lemmon at Spencer’s campground 2016. Campouts are a family affair for Pack 77. We have four family friendly campout opportunities every year, which in my opinion, is not only awesome but quite unique for a Cub Scout pack. Go pack 77!!!
